3anuta Processes EGP 40 Billion in Platform GMV as It Expands Across Egypt

Last updated:

3anuta, an FRA-licensed digital microfinance platform, processed EGP 5.3 billion in platform GMV and financed EGP 383 million across 12,157 loans in 2025, as it expands its technology-
driven credit model to retailers, suppliers and micro-entrepreneurs across Egypt. That volume

has since grown 9x, with platform GMV reaching EGP 40 billion in 2026. Powered by Creditor
Financial Technology, 3anuta combines digital onboarding, data-driven credit assessment,
financing workflows and portfolio management to give businesses that have traditionally faced
barriers to formal credit access to financing through a digital platform.
Licensed by Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) under Microfinance License No. 24 in
2023, 3anuta is building a scalable digital infrastructure for microfinance that connects financing
with the everyday needs of businesses, from purchasing inventory and productive assets such
as motorcycles, tricycles and Machines.

A Technology-Driven Credit Infrastructure

At the core of 3anuta’s model is an integrated technology platform that supports the full
financing lifecycle, from customer onboarding and data collection through credit assessment,
approval, disbursement and ongoing portfolio management. The platform integrates directly with
the Egyptian Credit Bureau (I-Score) APIs to automate approvals on client loan requests, and
connects financing activity with the commercial activity of the businesses being financed through
3anuta’s marketplace and supplier network.
The infrastructure brings together five integrated platforms, a Mediator Dashboard, Loan Officer
App, Client App, Distributor Dashboard and Distributor App, alongside a Sales Force Automation

(SFA) platform that extends the lending ecosystem into the sales and distribution networks of
manufacturers and suppliers. The platform is also integrated with payment and financial
infrastructure providers including Fawry, Basata, Banque Misr Wallet and E-Khales.

Operational Scale and Marketplace Growth

3anuta’s technology platform is already operating at meaningful scale, processing EGP 5.3
billion in platform GMV during 2025 and EGP 383 million in financing across 12,157 loans, with
an average ticket of approximately EGP 31,000. The platform supported an average of 150 loan
officers across its products while maintaining an outstanding financing portfolio.
The company’s Marketplace has also recorded significant momentum in 2026, with order
volumes growing 9x compared with the previous period, reflecting increasing adoption of
3anuta’s integrated commerce and financing ecosystem, where retailers can discover products,
compare prices, place orders and access financing directly through the platform.

A Portfolio of Financing Products Built Around Business Needs

3anuta’s product suite is designed around the different financing requirements of micro and
small businesses. Its Revolving Credit Line provides retailers with a digital credit limit to
purchase products from suppliers through the 3anuta marketplace or to pay suppliers directly,
with tenors of up to three months. Asset Financing enables entrepreneurs to finance productive
assets such as motorcycles, tricycles and equipment used to operate commercial, delivery and
service businesses, with tenors up to 36 months. Microfinance Loans provide broader financing
for micro-businesses across different sectors, with funds disbursed through e-wallets, postal
transfers or bank transfers and tenors up to 36 months.

Scaling Beyond Greater Cairo

The scalability of this model is increasingly reflected in 3anuta’s geographic expansion. The
company now operates across eight Egyptian governorates, Cairo, Giza, Qalyoubia, Alexandria,
Menya, Sharqia, Beheira and Daqahleya, extending its financing reach beyond Greater Cairo as
part of its broader ambition to achieve nationwide coverage and establish digital microfinance as
an accessible financing channel for businesses across Egypt. As it expands, 3anuta says it is
maintaining discipline around credit quality and portfolio performance, combining its technology,
data and local market knowledge to scale responsibly rather than growth for its own sake.
“Expanding into eight governorates is a direct result of the trust our partners and users have
placed in 3anuta since we launched. Our goal has always been to bring structured, reliable
microfinance to entrepreneurs who have historically been overlooked by traditional lenders, and
this expansion moves us closer to operate nationwide,” said Tamer El-Hady, CEO & Co-Founder
of 3anuta.

Partnerships Driving Market Access

3anuta’s expansion has been supported by a growing network of ecosystem partners, including
El Amir Group, TVS Egypt, Pullman, BluEV, Smart Digital Services and Eastern Company,
alongside financial and technology partners including Banque Misr and Fawry. Rather than
expanding solely through a centralized model, 3anuta is building its presence market by market
through partnerships that connect local business activity with digital financing.
“Our partnerships are a key driver of our ability to scale sustainably. El Amir Group and TVS
Egypt provide deep market access across retail and mobility, while Banque Misr and Fawry
strengthen the financial infrastructure that supports secure and reliable transactions. By bringing
these complementary capabilities together, we’re able to enter new governorates with greater
confidence, backed by proven capabilities and an established ecosystem,” said Amr El-Gendy,
Managing Director & Co-Founder of 3anuta.
